Based in Oakville Ontario and a graduate of Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Animation, Kayla Borecky is a versatile artist with a passion for storytelling. Naturally observant of life around her, she draws upon personal experiences to conceive meaningful, relatable stories to entertain audiences and evoke emotion. With a love for many genres, she actively explores and adapts visual styles to best reflect these stories told. Kayla relishes most in the humour and subtleties of character acting, expression and gesture. She strives to create nuanced performances that will appeal to viewers and allow them to empathize with the characters. In the future, she hopes to develop her creative skills further and continue her artistic endeavours, with the goal of one day settling down on her own hobby farm.
