Balloom is a fourth year thesis film about a Clown who struggles to accept the inevitable demise of his balloon animals but gains a new perspective on life thanks to those around him. It is a heartfelt story about the importance of appreciating the present and coming to terms with the difficulties of loss.

While Balloom was a story conceived from a number of personal experiences and emotions, at its core lies a universal message in which I believe anyone can relate to. Incorporating a depth of symbolism and psychological elements while broaching the delicate topic of grief through a childlike, illustrative style makes Balloom a film suitable for young and old alike. I hope this film serves to entertain, inspire and comfort those who view it, prompting us all to take a step back and reflect on life. The best thing we can do is to live, for ourselves, for those around us, and for the beloved ones we've lost.

Special thanks to those who have helped make this film possible:
